About The Event
Camp Description: Bees and butterflies and flowers, oh my! In honor of National Pollinator Week we’ll be spending our days learning all about how pollinators work, the importance of pollination and how to conserve and support our pollinating friends. Between buzzing bees, beautiful butterflies and blooming gardens – there is a ton to learn about in the world of powerful pollinators. We’ll play games, go on bug hunts in area parks, build beautiful creations and hold real life Bug Ambassadors every day.
Dates and Times: Please note that our camps meet from 9am - 4pm each day for the week of 6/18. Pick up and drop off will be in the Insectarium Classroom.
Location: We will meet for drop off and pick up in the classroom of the Insectarium. At 218 E. Front street enter through the main foyer/lobby of the building and up the stairs to the second floor. You'll immediately turn right, go through a door and then a quick right again to go down a longer hallway. Our door to the classroom will be on the left.
Lunch: Parents will be asked to send along a lunch and small afternoon snack. In awareness of potential allergy issues and respect for parents dietary choices we don't allow kids to share or trade snacks at lunch or in the afternoon.
